Our plans are £39, £69 and £89 a month. Each one covers the design, the hosting, your business email, security, backups and the changes you need once the website is live. Even our biggest plan, with 20 pages and 15 location pages, costs less than £90 a month.

What changes the price of a website
Six things decide what a small business website costs. Our three plans are built around them, so you only pay for what your business needs.
How many pages you need
A sole trader is often fine with 5 pages. A business with several services needs a page for each one. Essential has 5, Business 10 and Premium 20.
Who writes the words
Writing takes time, so it costs money. On Essential you send us your text. On Business and Premium we write it from a chat about your business.
The areas you serve
Location pages help you show up in nearby towns. Business includes 5 and Premium 15. Essential has none, which keeps its price down.
Changes after launch
Essential includes one small update a month. Business and Premium include unlimited updates within fair use, so the price covers the work.
Selling online
An online store needs products, payments and delivery set up. It is a one-off £299 on Premium, and you only add it if you sell online.
Email and extras
Mailboxes, SSL, backups and hosting are often sold separately. Ours are in every plan, so there is nothing to add on.

- How much does an affordable website cost in the UK?
A small business website from a UK designer usually costs £300 to £1,000 upfront, or £20 to £100 a month on a pay monthly plan. Ours are £39, £69 or £89 a month with no setup fee. That covers the design, hosting, email, security and updates.
- What does the £39 a month actually include?
A 5-page website designed for you by Ben, your domain, UK hosting, an SSL certificate, a business mailbox, daily backups, malware protection, Google Analytics, Search Console, Rank Math SEO set-up and one small update a month. There is nothing else to pay to get a working website.
- Is a £39 a month website good enough for a real business?
Yes. It is the same design process, hosting and support as our bigger plans. The difference is the number of pages, who writes the words and how many updates are included. Plenty of established businesses run on Essential.
- Are there any setup fees or hidden costs?
No. There is no setup fee and no charge for hosting, email, SSL or security. The only extras are things you choose to add, such as an online store on Premium for a one-off £299.
- What will I pay in the first year?
Essential is £468, Business is £828 and Premium is £1,068. Each figure is simply 12 monthly payments, with nothing upfront and nothing added on.
- Why is pay monthly more affordable than paying upfront?
You keep your cash in the business instead of paying £500 or more before the website exists. The monthly price also covers hosting, email, security and changes, which an upfront build usually charges for every year.
- What happens after 12 months?
Your plan carries on month to month at the same price, and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. The website is yours from that point, so if you leave we move it to you or your new provider.
- Do I own my website?
Yes, once your first 12 months are paid. It is built on WordPress, so it is not tied to our platform, and you can take it with you.
- Can I start small and add pages later?
Yes. Start on Essential with 5 pages and move up to Business or Premium whenever you need more pages, location pages or written content. You can change plan at any time.
- Do I have to write my own content?
On Essential, yes. You send us the words and photos and we lay them out. On Business and Premium we write every page for you after a short chat about your business.
- Will an affordable website rank on Google?
A website ranks when it is built properly, whatever it costs. Every page we build has proper titles, descriptions and schema, with Analytics and Search Console connected. Business and Premium add location pages for the towns you serve, which helps with local searches.
- Will my website work on phones?
Yes. Every website we build is designed for phones, tablets and desktops, and most of your visitors will be on a phone. You see the preview on your own phone before it goes live.
- How long does it take?
Most websites are live in under 2 weeks. The main thing that affects the time is how quickly we get your words and photos, or on Business and Premium, how soon we can have the chat about your business.
- Is a website builder like Wix or Squarespace more affordable?
A builder costs £10 to £40 a month, so it can be cheaper on paper. But you design, write and maintain the website yourself, and it stays on their platform. With us, Ben designs it, we look after it, and after 12 months you own it.
- Can I add an online store?
Yes, on the Premium plan. The store is a one-off £299, set up with your products and payments, and you can add it later if you are not ready to sell online yet.
- Which plan should I choose on a small budget?
