This policy explains cookies and similar technologies associated with Ubie Websites and the online services we use. Ubie Websites is the trading name of Ubie Ltd, company number 12380483, registered at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage, tracking pixels and identifiers in links. They can support a service you request, remember choices, measure website use or help measure advertising.
The services below do not all place cookies on every visit. What is used depends on the page, the features you open, your choices and the provider’s settings. Provider examples and default lifetimes are identified as such; they are not a claim that every listed cookie is installed on your device.
You have a choice about cookies that require consent. Advertising and conversion-tracking cookies require prior consent. Simply browsing, scrolling or closing a notice does not amount to consent. Cookies genuinely necessary to deliver a service you request can be used without consent.
UK law also provides a limited exception for certain statistical measurement. It is not a blanket exemption for Google Analytics or advertising-linked analytics, and includes requirements for clear information and a simple, free way to object.

Our website uses WordPress. Features such as signing into an account can require cookies to recognise the session and protect access. These are different from advertising or visitor-profiling cookies; ordinary browsing does not require you to sign into WordPress.
Security, session and consent-preference technologies must be assessed by their purpose. A provider calling a cookie “essential” does not make advertising or tracking essential.
Session cookies normally expire when the session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry or earlier removal. Browsers and your settings can shorten their lifetime.
We use Google Analytics to understand website use, such as pages viewed and interactions. Google Tag Manager manages the deployment of website tags; the information collected depends on the tags configured through it.
Provider-documented cookies: _ga distinguishes visitors and _ga_<container-id> maintains session state. Google lists a default expiry of two years for each. Site settings can change this and browsers may impose shorter limits.
Analytics connected to advertising or individual tracking must not be assumed to qualify for the UK statistical-measurement exception. Google tags can also transmit information without setting cookies, so cookie settings alone do not describe every data transfer.
We use Google Ads conversion measurement to understand whether advertising leads to useful actions, such as an enquiry. Depending on the configured features, information can include advertising identifiers, interactions and conversion events.
Provider-documented examples: cookies beginning _gcl_ help connect an advertising click with a later action. Google lists a lifetime of 90 days for this cookie family. Other Google cookies depend on the features used and the visitor’s choices.
Advertising measurement is not strictly necessary to browse our website and requires consent for the associated storage or access. Google Consent Mode communicates choices to Google; it is not itself a consent banner.
We use Zoho CRM, Zoho Mail, Zoho Bookings, Zoho Desk and Zoho Analytics for enquiries, email, appointments, support and business reporting. Using these systems behind the scenes does not, by itself, place a Zoho cookie in a visitor’s browser.
Opening a booking page, support portal or an embedded Zoho feature can involve Zoho’s own session, security and preference technologies. Any additional analytics depends on that service’s configuration. Zoho Analytics business reporting should not be confused with a website tracking script.
Provider-documented examples: Zoho lists JSESSIONID for session identification and cookies beginning zalb_ for distributing requests between servers. Both are listed as session cookies. These are examples from Zoho’s catalogue, not a confirmed list for every Ubie booking or support page.
Brevo supports email communications and marketing. Sending or storing an email through Brevo does not automatically mean its website tracker is installed.
If the Brevo website tracker is enabled, Brevo documents a cookie called visitor_id. It can help connect website activity with an identified contact, for example following certain email-link clicks or form submissions. The applicable expiry depends on the implementation and must be distinguished from how long contact records are kept.
Brevo also supports tracking email-link clicks separately from its website tracker. Optional marketing tracking needs to be assessed and controlled separately from sending a requested service message.
Our pages display Trustpilot review content and link to services including WhatsApp, booking and customer support. Opening an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy and cookie information. A normal link is different from embedding a provider’s tracking code on this website.
Embedded content can contact a provider’s servers when loaded. It should not be assumed to be cookie-free solely because no sign-in is requested. Review the provider’s information and any choices shown when using its service.

A cookie’s expiry is not the same as the retention period for information already sent to a provider. Deleting a cookie removes it from that browser; it does not automatically delete enquiry records or information previously collected.
Where cookie information identifies or can be linked to a person, UK data protection rules apply as well as the cookie rules. Providers may process information outside the UK depending on the service and account arrangements. You can contact us for information about the processing relevant to your use of our services.
