Yes, after your initial 12 months, you will own your website outright. Therefore, after 12 months, you can request your website files at any time.

We build our websites on WordPress, the world’s most popular CMS. Therefore, you are not locked into having your website with us forever.

Your web designer will create the pages for your website, so you don’t have to. This includes stock images, content writing, and creating the page design and layout. For example, we could do this for an ‘about us’ page.

A professional email address can start with anything, for example, sales@, and the second half will be your chosen domain name—for example, sales@mydomain.com.

Essential includes 1 mailbox with 2GB of storage. Professional and Online Store each include 5 mailboxes with 5GB of storage per mailbox.

The number of messages you can store depends on their size, especially any attachments. You can free up space by removing emails you no longer need, or ask us about a storage upgrade for an additional fee.

If you want Ubie Websites to make amendments to your website instead of using your website editor, you can email the amendments to us at support@ubiewebsites.co.uk.

You will need to provide the amendment content, such as text and images. A fair usage policy applies in our Terms & Conditions.

Content writing is when we write the text on your website pages. We recommend providing as much content as possible so we can expand on it, as you know your business best.

We add a widget that displays reviews from your Google Business Profile on your website. Visitors can read feedback from your customers while learning about your business. You’ll need a Google Business Profile to use this feature.

Yes. We add elements such as FAQs and other meta tags to help Google AI find important information on your website, including your business location, hours, and contact info.

Google Analytics helps track visitor information on your website, and you can later use that data to support paid online marketing. We can either set up an account for you or connect your existing account to your website.

Google Search Console helps Google understand your website better. For example, it lets you share a copy of your website’s sitemap with Google. You can also see which keywords people find you for. We can either set up a new account for your website or connect to an existing one.

A fully paid Imunify360 subscription is included with your website hosting with Ubie Websites. The software blocks malware and bad traffic from affecting your website and aims to stop it before it reaches your site.

We take a copy of your website files every evening or early in the morning and store it at an external data centre, away from your current web hosting. We store each backup for 3 days. Even in a worst-case scenario at a data centre, we can still recover a copy of your website files.

A domain name (also known as a web address) is the human-readable address people type into a web browser to access a website. For example, our domain name is ubiewebsites.co.uk.

You receive 1 free eligible domain name or domain name transfer with all website plans. If you prefer, you can also keep your domain name in your own ownership.

Web hosting is where your website’s files and database are stored so people can visit it online. Hosting is included in your monthly Ubie Websites plan, using a UK data centre with uptime monitoring.

All our websites include an SSL certificate. This enables HTTPS, which encrypts information sent between a visitor’s browser and your website.

Google PageSpeed Insights is a testing tool that helps ensure your website loads quickly on all devices.

On our Professional Plan, we aim to get you a score of 90+ on Mobile and Desktop. You’ll need to make compromises, as external scripts may slow your site and lower your PageSpeed score. For example, a reviews slider may take too long to load, or you may need to lazy-load it lower on the page.

Our Professional and Online Store plans let you add blog posts to your website, such as news or advice. Self-publishing blog posts is not included with the Essential plan. Fresh content helps your SEO thrive. You can also download the WordPress app on iOS or Android to make posts on the go.

On Professional and above, we will publish one blog post a month for you (optional) to help save you time.

On our Professional Plan and above, you can create up to 5,000 pages within your WordPress control panel.

All our websites include RankMath. Our Professional and Online Store plans include RankMath Pro.

Online store functionality lets you run your own online e-commerce store. It includes an online cart, backend inventory and stock management, payment options with popular merchants like PayPal and Klarna, and customer logins.
