• Is a monthly website plan worth it?

  For most small businesses, yes. Instead of paying a large amount upfront, you spread the cost and get design, hosting, security, support and updates included, so there are no separate bills or technical jobs to manage. Once your first 12 months are paid, the website is yours, and you can stay on a monthly plan or take it with you.

• Is a website plan better than a DIY builder?

  A DIY builder looks cheap, but you design, build and maintain the site yourself, so your time becomes the cost. With a website plan, we design it for you, host and secure it, keep it updated and look after you when something needs changing, so you can get on with running your business.

• How much does a website plan cost?

  Essential is £39 a month, Business is £69 and Premium is £89. There is no setup fee, so your first monthly payment is all you pay upfront. We are not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add. You can add an online store to Premium for a one-off £299.

• How much should I pay a month for a website?

  It depends on what you need. Cheaper plans often cover a single page or a basic template, while higher prices usually include a custom design, more pages and ongoing updates. Ours run from £39 to £89 a month and include hosting, security, business email, support and updates, so there are no extra bills.

• What is included in the monthly price?

  Every plan includes your custom design, domain, hosting with an SSL certificate, business email, daily backups, malware protection, Google Analytics and Search Console set-up, and UK-based support. Each plan then adds things like more pages, a page for each town you cover, written content and more time for updates each month. The plan cards above show exactly what comes with each one.

• Which plan is right for me?

  Essential suits start-ups and sole traders who need a professional website up and running. Business is the plan we recommend for most local businesses. It adds a page for each of 5 towns you cover, written content, Google reviews on your site and up to 1 hour of updates a month. Premium gives you the most pages, extra SEO fine-tuning on every page, a blog post written for you each month and the option of an online store.

• Can I change plan later?

  Yes. You can move up a plan at any time, and once your first 12 months are complete you can move to a different plan if your needs change.

• How long is the contract?

  Plans start with 12 months. After that they carry on month to month at the same price, with no new contract, and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. If you cancel during the first 12 months, the rest of those months is still due.

• Will I own my website?

  Yes. Once your first 12 months are paid, the design, content, files and database are yours. It is built on WordPress, so it is not tied to us. If you leave, give us 30 days’ notice and we send you a full copy of your website and help move your domain. Some premium plugins are licensed to us, so you may need to buy your own licences for those if you move.

• How long does it take to build my website?

  Most websites launch in under 2 weeks. Timing depends on the size of your website and how quickly we receive your content and feedback. You will see a preview and can request changes before it goes live.

• Can I get changes made after launch?

  Yes. Essential includes one small update a month, up to 30 minutes of work. Business includes up to 1 hour of updates a month and Premium up to 2 hours, and most clients use less. Send us new text, photos or prices and we make the change. On Business and Premium you can also publish your own blog posts, and on Premium you can create your own pages.

• Can I sell products on my website?

  Yes. Add an online store to a Premium plan for a one-off £299. It includes products, a basket, checkout and stock control, and your customers can pay by card, PayPal or Klarna.

• Will my website help me get found on Google?

  Every website is built with Google in mind. We set up Google Analytics and Search Console, with proper titles, descriptions and business details on each page. Business adds a page for each of 5 towns you cover and Premium adds 15. Premium also fine-tunes every page against an SEO checklist until it scores 90 out of 100 or more. We add FAQs and the details AI search tools look for too, such as your location, opening hours and contact information.

• Do you write the content for my website?

  On Business and Premium, we write the words for your pages. On Essential, send us your text and photos and we lay them out for you. Premium also includes a blog post written for you every month.

• Do you work with businesses in my area?

  Yes. We work with small businesses across the UK by phone, video call and WhatsApp, so you do not need to be nearby. We have local pages for London, Croydon, Enfield, Colchester, Leeds and Nottingham, with examples of websites we look after in each area.
