Website design questions:
How long does it take you to make my website?
Once you've completed registration and the initial steps, you can expect the first draft of your website in approx 1 to 2 weeks. For the entire process, we recommend allowing around three to four weeks. For more extensive or more specialised projects, the timeframe may be longer.
Do you build the whole website?
Yes, we handle the full website setup, including adding your content (excluding the essential plan). No prior experience is needed. With our Essential Plan, you will need to provide the content. For our Premium and E-commerce plans, we will create content up to the page limit of each plan.
Do you supply images for the website?
Yes, we can provide up to four stock images per page and six for the homepage. We recommend using some of your own images, as this can improve your search rankings. Don't worry; we will format and resize the images for you.
Do you make sites for all business categories?
We mainly create websites for local businesses; this can be any category, from hairdressing recruitment to plumbing. We can't provide any form of adult-based 18+ websites, including gambling. We make websites for other categories outside local businesses, but we recommend getting in touch first. Therefore, we can ensure our solutions meet your requirements.
Do you use a custom design for your website builds?
We have spent years building our custom WordPress framework for security, speed and style. We use our base framework to custom-design your website. While all our sites are custom designed, the Premium and Online Store plans include more design hours.
What do you use to build your websites?
We build our websites on WordPress, which is an open-source content management system (CMS). We never use marketplace templates. Unlike web builders such as Wix and other web design companies using closed-source systems, you can self-move your website after your contract period ends. Therefore, you have 100% ownership of your website after the initial contract period.

How does your pricing work for websites?
We offer websites with a small upfront fee to cover basic setup costs. After that, you pay an affordable monthly charge, including the website build, hosting, domain, email services, security certificate, and more. We pride ourselves on transparent pricing – no hidden fees, ever.
What happens after the first 12 months?
After the first year, your plan switches to a monthly rolling contract. We are confident you will love our service. However, for peace of mind, you can request your website files, database, and domain after the contract term.
How does signing up work?
You will need to submit an online package builder application. The package builder will ask for details about you and your business. Ubie will then review the application. If accepted, you will receive an e-signature for your website plan. Once completed, we will send the upfront costs + the first monthly payment invoice and the direct debit mandate form.
Do I fully own my website?
After the initial 12-month contract, you will fully own your website and domain name.
Is there are eligibility requirements?
You must be over 18 to enter a contractable agreement with Ubie. We can ask for ID (driving licence or passport) or more details before accepting applications. Each package builder application is reviewed case by case, and we hold the right to refuse applications or carry out further background checks.
